Craig and Jeff,
SO sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a huge part of our lives while we were growing up. Her guidance and counseling was subtle, yet influential, as we all went through our own set of quirky growing pains and development. She was the best. Very wise, but we never really realized it at the time. What a great lady!
Hope all else is well with you. I see from the bio that there are kids running around in your houses! That's great! Between Katie and I we have 5 kids...

I am so sorry that I am not able to be at your mom's funeral Mass tomorrow. John and I head for the annual ADA meeting early tomorrow morning. I would have loved nothing more than to have been there to send Betty back Home. And, especially to be able to see you. I told you during our visit last September that I still make Betty's Grasshopper Pie at Christmas time. Just one wonderful memory to have and deliciously carry on.
You are a good son and loved your parents well. Be proud...

Your mom was one of the most kind and caring people I ever met. She truly lived her faith and had an amazing capacity to help anyone in need. She had an infectious laugh and I always looked forward to spending time with her. She was such a wonderful friend to my mom, and I know they are in heaven together now. Our entire family will miss her so much. I hope you will find some peace in your wonderful memories of her!
