Elizabeth Frances Dickens, 89, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 15, 1925, in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, to Charlie Frank and Hazel Fay Lower Anderson. She was a member of the Sunny Slope General Baptist Church in Edgemont, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Dickens; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Martin Anderson and Frank and Jeannie Anderson. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Emmett Hixson of Moore, Oklahoma, Charlene and Darrel Johnston of Bonita, California; Willene and Pete Lusk of Dover; and Sharon and Burt Standridge of Dover; a sister and brother-in-law, Effie and Herbert Millsaps of Dover; seven grandchildren, Richard Hixson, Lori Pettenridge, Ryan Johnston, Valery Passmore, David Lusk, Melissa Strovers and John Standridge; and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will conduct a graveside memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Pollard Cemetery near Dover. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
