I extend condolences to Betty's family...she was a remarkable person in the fullest meaning of those words...she and Bill were a great couple...the world would be a much better place if it had more people like them...

Our condolences to the family of Mrs Dougherty, we're very sorry for your loss. We didn't know her well but her dedication to her children was quite obvious and in particular her very precious daughter Maureen, my friend.

I was sorry to read of Betty’s passing. I met Betty when many years ago when I was a young teacher in Norwich. We worked together representing teachers through the Norwich Teachers League and became good friends. I have so many memories, but the most meaningful to me was the day my father passed away unexpectedly. I was at an Inservice Day when I got the call. I had no car as my car was in the shop for repairs. Betty had retired the June before and someone knew of our friendship and called...

Condolences to all the family on the loss of Betty. She was a lovely lady and a wonderful teacher. We all enjoyed her when she was coming into the salon. Always a Beautiful smile on her face. We were all impressed with the Loving care her family gave to her. She had a Light that will shine on in all of her family and those of us Blessed to know her. Thinking of you all at this sad time .
