Read MoreI regret that I never met Mrs. Duckwall. Her son was my pediatrician many moons ago. He also saw my brother Quentin and many cousins. I can say with certainty that she had to be one very smart, kind, and great woman. This I know because of Dr. Duckwall.

What a lady! I first met Beth Duckwall when I began teaching in Charlotte County in 1975 and attended Bethlehem Church. Her letters of encouragement have been an inspiration through the years. My life is richer and my faith stronger because our paths crossed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family – she so loved and treasured each of you. With love and sympathy.

I met Mrs. Duckwall about 2 years ago while visiting the nursing home. I came back regularly to see her and the last time was on Christmas day past. She was ready to go home to meet her Lord. A precious dear christian lady and friend. I will miss her sweet spirit and smile. She is with Jesus Christ her Lord forever.
