I worked with Betty at Lake Park High School for a short time and she always had a great energy. She often talked about her family and seemed to have a real joy for life. lnspired by her, I keep a candy dish on my desk after seeing how hers brightened many a student´s day!

I have so many fond memories and stories with Betty. She was never afraid to do anything! We could talk on the phone for a couple of hours, say goodbye, and not talk again for 2/3 months but when we did, we could pick up right where we left off!
