Not sure what to say?

I only met Elizabeth once. It was a memorable day I shared with her and her husband, Ron, on a visit to Bar Harbor. She was warm and welcoming, smart and witty, and maybe even showed a bit of playful personality when remarking about my age. She let Ron and I talk on and on about our favorite subject, Mr. Dorr, without the slightest bit of boredom or resentment that I had interrupted their vacation. The love shared between Ron and his Elizabeth was evident that day, and still shines on in...

Ron, I am so sorry to hear of Elizabeth's passing. I had worked with her throughout the years at HH. She was a wonderful teacher and mentor. You should take comfort in knowing that she touched the lives of so many students and colleagues.

Dear Ron,

It is with great sadness that I read the obituary sent to me by my cousin from Allentown. She remembered my great respect, joy and fondness for Liz so many years ago. I regret that we have not kept in touch. We remember your last visit. Our sincere condolences for your loss. Carol Weiss Hassan and Robert Hassan

Happy visit with Aunt Liz & Uncle Ron July 2011

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Liz who was a good friend and former colleague. Liz's great sense of humor made her a joy to be around. Her work ethic and attention to detail made her an outstanding educator and laboratorian and one who made a great contribution to the University of Connecticut.

Liz distinguished herself in her role as Director of Medical Technology, playing a key role in bridging the campus in Storrs with the hospital components of the...

Ron, Liz was a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend. My deepest sympathies are with you. May your fondest memories bring you peace.

Ron: I am so sorry to hear of Elizabeth's passing. I will always remember her warmth and hospitality as we all shared one rainy, spring afternoon on MDI. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Ron, What a shock, since it seems not too long ago we all had wonderful conversation at Luther Crest, a time of sadness also. You know Liz and I went elementary through college together. She was so bright, so happy, so interested in so many things. You will miss her, and I wish for you a peace and eventual happiness as you remember all your good times together. May God be at your side. Janet Kreller (I'd like to hear from you at some convenient time)

I knew Elizabeth from her time at HH. She was a good tech and enjoyed her role as Micro Instructor. She so enjoyed the outdoors. Take comfort in knowing she is at peace.
