Not sure what to say?

Brian and Stephanie: I remember your mom as friendly and sweet, which says a lot for a kid's memory of someone's mom! It speaks to her generosity and kindness, both of which I remember vividly. I was so sorry to hear that she'd passed. Thinking of you and your families and sending you lots of love. Love, Shannon

Stephanie and Brian, I am so sad to hear of Libby´s passing. I have the best memories of our families getting together when we were young. And of course, the many parties and dinners seeing our parents together. Libby was amazing and was my angel when I was pregnant with the twins and after. I could not have done it without her! Her patience, love, sweet manor, and helping heart were her best qualities. Sending my love and prayers.

Libby at Laura Hockaday's 75th birthday party, June 25, 2013

Sending sympathy and love to Libby's family. I knew Libby through The Kansas City Star "family" and got to know her better through our more recent participation in Laura Hockaday's gang of pals. I can't think of Libby without picturing her smiling. She was always so pretty and so sweet and kind to me. She would tell me how she brought Stephanie to "Miss Anne Sutton's" wedding (meaning mine). I just loved her and have missed seeing her these last few years. Rest in peace, darling Libby.

I feel blessed to have been Libby´s neighbor at Oak Hall and as a congregate at Unity Temple. She always had a kind word and a funny quip. My sincere condolences to the family.

Oh how we loved our dear Libby! Her radiant smile always greeted everyone she encountered - at every Oak Hall social event or even just in passing. During the Covid shutdown, when church went virtual, Libby would pad down the hall in her socks every Sunday morning to watch the Unity service on TV with Pat & me. She has been greatly missed these past few years but we'll continue to keep her spirit alive as she often comes up lovingly in conversation.

Pam and I were close neighbors of Libby. I will always remember her for helping out in every social event at our condominium building and for being a special friend as well as a grand cat sitter for our cats. We miss her.

I have known Libby for some 26 years. She was a delightful friend. She was fun to be around, and we spent many hours visiting each other as we were neighbors living in a condo where our units were across from each other. She will be missed. Pam
