Elizabeth Bilderback Frederick

I remember Mrs. Frederick so vividly from my years at the Academy and her close work with my father in the drama program. She was delightful and dedicated. My blessing to all of he family, especially Ren, Alex and Ervin whom I remember fondly from school

Mrs. Frederick was my favorite teacher at the Harrisburg Academy.......bar none.
Her bright, positive yet gentle guidance brought out the best in all her students, especially in drama. The shy ones learned to speak in public and on the stage. The extroverts shined in ways that were creative and healthy, in class and in plays. She took us beyond the Academy stage into competetive drama contests around Pennsylvania. Billie had a love of teaching, family and friends. We had good times in and out of school! I regret that I'll be out of town on November 12.

Billie Frederick was an inspirational drama teacher and coach - the productions and theatre trips she organized remain among the highlights of my Harrisburg Academy school days - the friends I made in drama club some of the best ever. I can still recite the lines I learned! She will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.

To Billie's children and grandchildren -- I had the privilege of teaching with Billie at the Harrisburg Academy back in the late 60s and we became fast personal friends. Billie was devoted to her family, proud of your accomplishments, and delighting in your individual selves. She was a lovely person in every way -- mentally, physically, and spiritually.
