Not sure what to say?

Betty brought so much joy to our Harrisburg First Church Choir during my years of directing there. We were a tight knit group that enjoyed serving in the capacity of praise and worship for Jesus. I cherish my years with Betty and other faithful participants who sang God's praises every week.

Betty Ann was a church choir member in Harrisburg. We sat next to one another for close to 6 years until she moved out of State. She was always sweet, with a kind and encouraging word during our choir rehearsals and as we sang together each Sunday. I was a professional puppeteer and ventriloquist, and my husband and I went to Betty Ann and Jim's home in Harrisburg with a couple of our puppets when Jim was staying alone while Betty Ann was in the hospital. He thoroughly enjoyed our little...

My Grandmother (90 yrs) and Betty have been friends forever! I have many fond memories of visiting Betty Ann and Jim as a child, when we would drive to Harrisburg for a visit. The Funk's were a treasure and will be deeply missed! God Bless

Betty Ann was one of my longest friends from childhood. We were neighbors on the Old Reading Pike in Douglassville. I think we met in 1945, and I have many fond memories, even camping out in the front yard! I've kept in touch with Betty all these years, and I will miss her dearly. My God Bless you and your family.

Betty Ann was a talented, bright and caring lady who shared her love of Christ with her Harrisburg First Church family and the Allison Hill community. She stayed connected with First Church through calls and visits and prayers even after moving to Pittsburgh. God bless the Funk family.

I am so glad Betty Ann and I talked a few weeks ago. She thought fondly of her many library friends. Seniors, children and those in between benefited from her work with libraries across the state.

I loved her like a sister and i work until we both retired may she rest in heavenly peace. Love you Betty Ann see you soon...

I remember Betty well from my days at the State Library beginning in 1974. She was not only the very definition of a consummate professional but a warm and caring individual as well. My condolences go out to Betty's family.

Betty Ann was my mentor and friend. She did so much to improve library services for children and senior citizens. We would meet up at the annual American Library Association conference and she would always speak so fondly about her family. Sending prayers and sympathy to all of you.
