Dr. Gilmore was a wonderful neighbor. I remember falling from the kitchen counter as I was going after a cooking and I cracked my head open and Dr. Gilmore came over and helped me. I am grateful to her and for having wonderful neighbors.

We will always have fond memories of Betty when we shared many Christmas dinners at the Gilmore home. Betty always seemed to have a twinkle in her eye as she talked about her travels and her life. It was truly a joy to have known her. Our thoughts & prayers are with each of you.

I met Margaret's mother only once and greatly enjoyed the visit. I still have the pink shoes she helped me locate at a great bargain price! My sincere condolences to the Gilmore family.

I enjoyed her as a person and even more, enjoyed her as a friend and confidant when we met at Matheson Hammock for a 'snatched from the daily whirlwind' afternoon at the beach. RIP, Betty.

My deepest condolensces to all of you on the passing of your mother. Many fond memories of my wonderful neighbors.

Betty and Hugh were my next door neighbors during my childhood. I fondly remember that Betty once came over to my house when I fell off the kitchen counter in my attempt to get a cookie from the jar on the shelf. She helped me when I was bleeding all over the place from the cut of my scalp (a result from the heroic assault on the cookie jar). She was always kind to me when I came over to the Gilmore home to play with Hugh or Peter.

I recall that Betty loved her red Mercedes,...
