I knew Beth from our days at Union College together in Barbourville, Ky., back in the 70s. We became friends and kept in touch off and on over the years. We had just reconnected about two years ago after a long absence. I have such fond memories of those early times in our careers when we were just starting, young and eager to make a contribution to our respective disciplines. Elizabeth was a beloved member of the Northwest Collage Society. We all benefited from her talent, friendship and generosity of spirit.
