Not sure what to say?

I can truly say that I never saw Lilly Faulkner Hawkins without a huge smile on her face. She was such a vivacious and energetic lady. She exuded happiness among any and all who encountered her.

Evidence: her picture in the News -Gazette above her obituary. That was her smile that she gave to everyone and it didn't matter what was going on, she made you feel so happy and pleased to be in her company.

We have lost one of the most pleasant personalities that I and...

Dear Faulkner and Hawkins Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. As a teenager I was fortunate enough to spend some time around the Faulkner/ Hawkins Family and I know that Lilly's greatest comfort and joy was having all of you with her. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

David, Anne, & families, you are in my thoughts as you travel through this difficult time. May the love of friends & family sustain you.

Love & best wishes.

I am very sorry to her about Lily. We were good friends while growing up in Rockbridge County during the late 50's and early 60's. She was a wonderful, caring person. We lost contact after high school, as I moved away. Her Dad and Mine were very good friends and worked together at James Lees in Glasgow. I'm sure all will miss her greatly, Ed Johnston Jr.

To the Faulkner/Hawkins Families,

We were so sorry to hear of the death of Lilly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

Dear, dear Wally,
You have always been Lilly's hero. And she has always
been my inspiration. ....... thank heaven I had the chance

Don and I send our deepest, most heartfelt,
sympathy to you and your family. She was, and
you are......very special, "unique in all the world".
