Elizabeth Hegy was one of my favorite people in what used to be the Central Valley School. As a third grade teacher, she was a favorite among the students. I enoyed her intelligence, her great sense of humor, and the respect she had for others. This was in a period of time from 1952 to 1956. Many years later, I visited her in Eureka. Bill was home at the time with a nasty case of the flu.
