Not sure what to say?

Betsy was a wonderful friend from high school and 4-H. It is nice to hear how many people valued her. My sympathies to her sons and her sisters.

Liz was such a nice and caring person. She was an outstanding teacher who really took time with her students to make sure they were successful in her class. She was, also, always willing to help with school events; in fact, she even came back after she retired to help with the Schools of Choice graduations. She was a special person whom will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Mrs. Horst was a wonderful teacher and mentor. I had the pleasure of working with her at Schools of Choice. The love she showed children was a testimony to her as a person. I am so grateful to have learned from her as well. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that she touched the lives of thousands of students. She will always be fondly remembered.

My deep condolences go to the Horst family. I worked with Liz at Holmes Middle School and she was a very nice, sweet, beautiful person. Very easy and enjoyable to work with.

To the Horst family: You have my deepest sympathy. My mom worked with Ms. Horst at Schools of Choice. She was a very nice lady.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Mrs. Horst was very special to the Schools of Choice Family.

All my memories of Liz involve laughing about something together. She was so talented and influenced so many lives in her job. The last time I saw her and she knew me we were at Applewood. She was with Ardith Mabry. I've looked hard for a dinosaur that she made to pass on to Sam and Ella. I'm so sorry that she couldn't enjoy her retirement years being a grandma. I loved and admired her. Sue Thalhammer

Jeff and Steve, we are saddened by your loss and the pain of her illness. Our son David remembers her fondly. Sandra and David Owen

I was a Home Economics teacher in the Flint Schools and Elizabeth and I worked on countless curriculums together. She was a dedicated professional and a wonderful caring person. May your loving memories keep her spirit alive,
