What a friend we have had in Betty! At her generous invitation and with infants in our arms, we came to her Fairview Park home. Gathered around her mighty table, we young mothers shared prayer, read scripture, adding our commentary to the scholars' as the children played in our midst.
Patiently, she listened, as we also shared our lives, our joys and our tears. How much patience and caring she extended to us! How much energy she expended for us!
