Elizabeth Jacob

Only a partition separated us in our City of Lake Oswego office, so we had lots of opportunity to talk travel, architecture and sometimes work. Sorry to say, she seemed to understand my weird sense of humor - I'd make her laugh, snort and exclaim, "get out of here." Liz was talented and very serious about her work, but could easily be drawn into something as stupid as a rubber-band battle between cubicles (friendly fire). I'm smiling as I write and remember. Thanks, Liz.

I knew Liz during her time at the City of Lake Oswego. She was so very interesting and interested in everything. I remember her beautiful self-designed house, decorated with artifacts and treasures from her travels, each with its own story. Farewell, world traveler.

I enjoyed knowing Liz here at Mary's Woods. We were both getting our books published by the same editor and there were many delays. We worried that we'd be gone before they got published -- that was during the pandemic when all our lives were interrupted and delays were the norm. Thankfully we both lived to see our writings published. She was so amazing in all the things she accomplished in her lifetime. My condolences to all of her family.
