A very sad day has come. It's been a long time since I last set foot on the farm. I had always hoped that I could bring my kids down so that they could meet their Great Grandmom. Their Great Grandmom...it seems like such an under statement. I have wonderful memories of her and I can hear her laugh in my head as I type. That's what I remember about her the most, her laugh. I don't want to bore anyone with my childhood memories on the farm, but I would like to say that her passing is very sad...

When I think of Grandma, I remember visiting her every summer. I remember her Wild Plum jelly and sitting at the kitchen table eating cereal with fresh strawberries or blueberries from her garden. I will miss her very much. But I have with me in my mind and my heart, my memories.

Mother will be sorely missed. I knew I could always talk to her about anything - no matter how good or bad - with confidence she would hear me out with calmness and would reply with sensibleness. She set a good example for me in many ways. Most of all I appreciate that at an early age she instilled in me a love for God and for his Son and a deep respect for the Holy Scriptures.
