Keister, Elizabeth Louise age 78, of Golden Valley passed gently and peacefully from the hands of her family into the arms of the Lord on June 30th, 2007. A beautiful and loving woman, Betty is survived by her husband of 59 years George, and children Sue (Phil) Qunley, Jim Keister, Patricia Huemoller, Jane (Dale) Okkelberg and Mary (Dixon) Dahlberg and her 11 loved grandchildren, Katie, Adam, Megan, Kelly, Kevin, Ryan, John Paul, Griffin, Ben, Nick and Jamie. Also survived by her brother, Don (Peggy) Broadbent and sister, Helen Johnston. Her family and friends were the most important people in her life. She remained centered in the joy of life and her love of gardening, tennis, bridge, family fishing trips to Canada, and charity work. The last 21 winters were enjoyed in Arizona with husband and friends. We remember Mom as a loving, generous, caring, and gracious woman, who provided selflessly for her family and others. She will be greatly missed by her family and community as she begins her new journey into eternal life with those who have gone before to the beautiful kingdom of the Lord. May God love her and hold her until we are with her once again. We love and miss you, Mom! Family and friends are invited to share in services honoring her life, Thursday evening, July 5th at Gearty- Delmore Funeral Chapels, 39th Ave. N. and West Broadway, Robbinsdale MN, from 5:00-8:00 PM followed by a funeral Mass at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church, at Theodore Worth Parkway and Golden Valley Rd., on Friday morning, July 6th, at 10:30 AM. Please send memorial gifts to Gearty- Delmore Funeral Chapels, 3888 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale MN 55422. All monetary gifts will be given to her favorite charities and medical institutions. My mother was a beautiful lady. I know that she continues to be with me as a swallow tail butterfly, who visits everytime I am working in my garden. She is free now, from pain and suffering, as she adorns my garden and warms my spirit. She is still beautiful and graceful.

It is with heavy hearts tht we send our condolences. Our pain is so trivial to what you, George and Family, are going through. Yet, we feel that Betty's pain is gone and someday we will all be reunited. Our prayers and loving thoughts are with you.

Dear Uncle George, Sue, Jim, Pat,
Jane and Mary,
You cannot imagine how badly I wanted to be there to pay my personal respects to Aunt Betty, and to give each of you a big hug. Betty was special in every way, and she as well as the entire Keister clan are a part of my happiest childhood memories. Please take care of yourselves and each other.
Best wishes and love,
