Not sure what to say?

Libby was a great friend of mine and we met back in the early 80s when things were rocking in Silicon Valley. I met Libby through Hugh Hempel and Paula Barnes. Paula and Libby were great friends. We had so many fun times together during those years. But the best of times was when we just hung out at Hugh and Paula's house, laughing and listening to music. It is truly some of my best memories of my life. When I moved away from the Bay Area I would still come back occasionally and would always...

just stumbled upon this obituary and it hit me in the gut. I remember Libby Kepner from my ballroom dance class at Chico State probably around 1974 or 75. Willie Simmons was the teacher and we all had to line up on the side of the room. Boys on one side and girls on the other. I remember watching this girl with freckles as I recall, just beaming with life. I think we only danced once but I always looked forward to seeing her in class. So sorry to hear that her lively spirit is gone so soon....

I met Libby when she was at the cleaners. We became quick friends, both of us loved to dance and as she would say, "we had leisure down to a science". We supported each other through some difficult times but always found time to sit by the pool or watch the sharks play. I was the designated cat watch when she'd leave town. Her affection for animals and her cats knew no bounds.

I'll miss her laugh and can do attitude. Most of all I will miss watching her eyes smile when we danced.

RIP Libby. Have not seen her for many years , but have found memories of her when she was with TWA . I am sad she left us at such an early age .

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. May the wonderful treasures fill your hearts with love and bring you peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time (Hosea 13:14)

Sympathy for your loss. Losing some one you love in death is never easy, but please remember you are not alone. God promises He is with those who are broken hearted.
