I didn't know Betsy for very long, but she made a deep impression on me. I was moved by her unwavering faith and love for our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I loved Betsy's sense of humor and she gave her honest opinion always. I was impressed by all the great things she did in her short life. She was a friend and I will cherish her memory always.

I met Betsy in Romania on a mission trip and had the privilege of staying in her home in Arad on several occasions. She was a good Southern Hostess even in Romania, and we always looked forward to being with her. I am so thankful that our paths crossed in this old world. She was a blessing - to the end.
