HAMILTON - Elizabeth (Lida) Sawula Kirzecky, 80, died Saturday at her home.
Born in Ukraine, she lived in Trenton from 1949 and moved to Hamilton in 1959. She was a member of St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Mrs. Kirzecky was the daughter of the late Wasyl and Maria Sawula and wife of the late Myroslaw (Myron) Kirzecky. She is survived by three daughters, Nadia Kirzecky of Hamilton, Maria (Mickey) Kirzecky and her husband David Jones of Princeton, and Christiana Kirzecky and her husband Martin Carey Jr. of Hamilton; and a sister, Ulana Koropey of Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kutch Funeral Home, 215 Grand St., Trenton. Requiem Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery No.2 in Hamilton. Friends and relatives are invited to share their condolences with the family on Wednesday from 8 until 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Life Choice Hospice, 200 Campbell Drive, Suite 203, Willingboro, NJ 08046; or the Children of Chernobyl Relief and Development Fund-USA, 60-C North Jefferson Road, Whippany, NJ 07981-1030; or to St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1195 Deutz Ave., Trenton, NJ 08611.
