Elizabeth Anne Burgoyne "Liz" Knapp

We didn´t know Liz well until recent years when we connected on NextDoor. She would alert me to old items she was going to put in the trash, hoping I could use them in a piece of art. She seemed to delight in the idea of being my art helper and I´ll miss our art conversations. Thank you Liz!

My family had the honor of knowing Liz and her family through our sons participation with the Reston Rangers soccer club. Liz was one of the managers of the team consisting of young boys who resided in Reston and Great Falls, VA. She was the team's sparkplug - always cheering the boys on as they traveled around Northern Virginia, areas of the Northeast of the US and Canada seeking out the best competition.
