Elizabeth R. Kosman, 94 of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in her home. Born on February 4, 1931 in Egypt, PA, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Kuchera. Elizabeth and her husband, Alfred R. Kosman celebrated 65 years of marriage before his passing in 2017. She was employed with Western Electric, AT&T as a layout operator for many years. Elizabeth was a faithful member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church, Northampton and a former member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Northampton.


Survivors: children, Bonnie Kosman, Marianne Laury and husband Dale, Joseph Kosman; grandchildren, Jared Laury and wife Angela, Shannon Craythorn and husband Don; great grandchildren, Hailey, Sadie Laury; a sister, Sister Anita Kuchera of the School Sisters of St. Francis and many nieces and nephews. 3 brothers, and 2 sisters preceded Elizabeth in death.


Services: family and friends may call on Friday, November 14th from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. in the church, 2181 Washington Ave., Northampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Entombment will be at the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be offered below.


Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the School Sisters of St. Francis or to the church in loving memory of Elizabeth.
