Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Lincoln was a pillar of Trinity Church during all the years that I was growing up there and singing in the choir. She was always smiling, always friendly -- I can't imagine a person who didn't like her. I treasure the heirloom rocking chair that my family restored and Mrs. Lincoln stenciled with a historically appropriate stencil. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed as part of a generation that is almost gone.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Lincoln's death. She was a very special person and a wonderful art teacher. I am happy to own several pieces of her art work and her book "Here's Ware and Elsewhere", which is a treasure. My sympathy goes out to all her family.

Such a wonderful woman. I remember so fondly the day I visited her in her home and she guided me around her studio and her life as an artist. She will be missed by me and especially at each and every art show I am a part of. Love ya,Reed Coles

To Betty's family - I'm so sorry to hear of Betty's loss. She was a very thoughtful and inspirational person. I can't think of a time when I saw her that she was not happy, upbeat, and enthusiastic. She will live on in hearts, as well as her many paintings and drawings.

Thank you Betty for your dedication to the people and history of Ware. Your paintings will always remnd of us of days and folks gone by. Matt Biskup WHS class of 89

Your memory will always live on at the Academy through the many art works of your creation displayed throughout the school. Rest in Peace.
Rodney LaBrecque, Head of School

Mrs Lincoln was the best teacher I ever had at Ware High School ( 1967-1971). I took her art classes junior and senior year. She opened my eyes to art, music, colors, beauty, photography. Her enthusiasm for her art made every class fun. In the 1980's, I called her up and asked if she could paint some portraits for my best friend and her husband as a gift. Working only from a few photos, she created magic! What a superb and gifted artist! My deepest sympathy to all her family and friends. ...

One of the finest, she will always be remembered.

To the family of Betty Lincoln. I have many memories from looking forward to having her attend mass on Sunday's, to viewing her paintings in the library, bank and hospital, and having my daughter help with her gardening tasks. I am sure she has touched many lives and will remain an icon of Ware forever. Our condolences for your loss as a family. Carol Koczur and family
