Not sure what to say?

It´s hard to believe it´s been a year since Dr. L´s passing. She was such a bright light in my years at Beaumont and I truly miss her. We were so incredibly lucky to learn from her, collaborate with her, sing with her, and enjoy her beautiful personality and exceptional talent. She pushed us to do the best we could at choral competitions, where we earned awards due to her ability to create such beautiful cohesion among our voices. My experiences working with her on numerous musicals and...

James, I was out of touch with your mom for many years. I just happened to think of her today and found her obituary. I'm so sorry for your loss. It will be some time before the pain if her passing fades to a tolerable level, but it will. She will always be with you in your heart. A friend recommended a book for me after my sister passed in 1997. It's called "Life is Good-bye, Life is Hello: grieving through all kinds of losses" written by an Espicopal, Ph.D psychologist after the death of...

My deepest condolences to James and the rest of Lisa `s family. I accompanied Lisa at a recital at the Cleveland Museum of Art and for a number of years, I accompanied the chorus at Beaumont for their Christmas concerts etc. It was such a pleasure to work with her and a privilege to hear that beautiful voice . Lisa was a beautiful person inside and out and it was my honor to have known her. My love to her son and family. God grant you the peace to accept her untimely passing .

Dr. Litteral was a legend at Beaumont. Her first major feat was as musical director for our drama club: she transformed a somewhat motley crew of teenage girls into a capable chorus for our performance of Steven Sondheim's Into the Woods. That was the best play that we put on during my four years there, and much of that was because of Dr. Litteral's skill and encouragement. Her love of music and of her students was evident always. She will be missed!

I think of voice lessons with Dr. Litteral every time I lift my palate, and of Voices of Harmony every time I see a shot from "Snakes on a Plane." Much love to her family and to our Beaumont family.

As I search for the words to Share, I want to expressi my sadness and condolences to you, James in the passing of your dear mom. I not only had the privlege to be one of the caregivers who helped in caring for your grandmother, I became fond and respectful of your mom as I witnessed such a dedication to her mom, your grandma, while she was living out her last days. Lisa juggled not only work,& home but, devoted herself to her moms care untill she passed. We at Visiting Angel's consider it a...
