Not sure what to say?

Dear Bruce,

I was so sorry to learn about Betsy's passing because I enjoyed meeting her, you , and (of course) Molly this past summer when I visited Alfred Shehab in Cape May, NJ. Alfred had spoken so highly of you and Betsy on many occasions.

As requested in lovely obituary that appeared in the "Cape May Star and Wave," Alfred and I will send donations to the American Red Cross office there in Cape May, NJ.

Take care of yourself and Molly. I know this is...

Bruce, how sad I am to learn of Betsy's passing - and to find out after the funeral. I would have come to say "goodbye" and share my condolences in person had I known earlier. You know better than anyone how wonderful a person Betsy was - she is up there organizing something or other. I will remember how happy she was when Ned and I met and fell in love. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with life without your best friend.

when I think about heaven I think about angels, when I think about angels I think about you!!! I am truly blessed to have had you as a grandmother (GB) and I am HONORED to be called your granddaughter!! Watch over us GB, I know you will!! See you in my dreams!! All the love in my heart!!!!!! <3 CarBar

Dear Bruce and family, Betsy was a unique, gifted, amazing volunteer leader and a great friend and volunteer partner to me. She mentored and provide coaching to hundreds, perhaps thousands of Red Cross leaders and through them enhanced the volunteer experience for millions of volunteers. Thank you so much for lending Betsy to us, she made a profound difference and will have a lasting impact.

I miss my 'Roomie' and my heart aches for all of you. Betsy is truly 'minding the light' now and leaves us with so many, many memories to cherish forever.

Lee Ann and family,

May the Lord bless you and watch over your during this time of grief. May you find solace in the strength of Jesus and knowing that your mother is now in His presence and that you have friends who love you and are praying for you. Our Love and Prayers are with you now and always.

Bruce and family, We are proud and honored to have called this remarkable lady our friend. Betsy was one amazing woman on earth and now she'll be watching over us making sure we're doing it right...as she always did. Blessings and love to all of you.

Bruce and family, prayers and happy memories to you all. I was privileged to volunteer at Red Cross NHQ with both of you, but more especially with Betsy in the Office of Volunteers for many years. Her wise counsel will be missed by the many Beyond the Unit volunteers as well. I can picture her already organizing a corps of angels to welcome those new to the ranks.
