McConnell, Elizabeth "BJ"

Elizabeth "BJ" McConnell always said "the great beyond" would be oceanside with a good wine bar and great music. She has now twirled and sashayed over to check it all out. Sadly this authentic and engaging woman left us much too soon.

Not sure what to say?

We are still in your old WG neighborhood, and continue to send you all bunches of love!

Elizabeth, known as BJ to many, had the kind of charisma that drew people to her. Her enthusiasm was contagious. She was a friend to many, and a dear friend of mine. Her presence lingers and she is missed by those, who not only loved her, but to any who had the great pleasure to be in her circle of friends. She had a great impact on my life, and I will be forever blessed to have known her.

We had the great privilege to know Elizabeth before we ever met her. We were on Craig's swim team, and the day after he met her, we all noticed what a great change there was in him -- happier, and obviously, smitten. What a terrific influence on a man who was terrific to begin with, and is terrific to this day. Craig was -- and still is -- a great, great inspiration in our lives, and she became an amazing, inseparable part of this greatness. After they met, we could not think of them...

Craig, Corey, and Ross,
We are so sorry for your loss.
Before we moved to your wonderful WG neighborhood BJ and G's sister Liz worked together in DC. And now both are in the great beyond.
These odd days must seem especially crazy for you
Sending love, the Lueders

Condolences and wishes for strength on BJ's passing.

On behalf of her many friends at Big Canoe we deeply mourn the "too early" passing of BJ. She brought her vivacious personality and love for life-long learning to Georgia. Part of her legacy that she brought to Georgia and started 4 years ago, continues in earnest today. We send our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Craig and the family. May she now rest in peace without pain and suffering!

I was simply heartbroken to hear about BJs passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of your family members. I was hoping to get in touch with you Craig so that I can send you a handwritten note . I have not seen you guys in many years. I hope you all are getting along OK after this terrible loss.

My husband (John Newhall) and I met BJ and Craig in Chautauqua, several summers ago, when exiting from a delightful kids' version of the upcoming evening opera performance. Craig, we have never forgotten you two and the enjoyment of your company. BJ will be missed! Her smile, her humor, and her insights were gifts to those around her...

After only 3 meeting with this lovely lady (who called me Friend) she trusted me to take care of her Mother of the groom dress and shoes! Blessing to the family as they continue the journey of life here on earth while awaiting the next meeting far beyond.
