(nee Glascott)
January 15, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Meckle; loving mother of Margaret Boorady, Joseph Meckle D.C. and Ellen (Gary) Zawodzinski; cherished grandma of Andrew Boorady, Carly Meckle D.C., Jenny Meckle D.C., Samantha (Larry) Broad, Rachel (Max) Oslund and the late Joshua Meckle D.C.; sister of the late Marion Glascott, Joseph Glascott, Andrew Glascott, Thomas Glascott and Edward Glascott; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family present Thursday 4-8 PM, at the HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca, NY, where prayers will be said Friday morning at 9:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from Queen of Heaven Church at 10:15 AM. Friends are invited. Face masks are required for Funeral Home Visitation and Funeral Mass at church. Mrs. Meckle was a proud member of Daughters of Erin. Flowers gratefully declined. Margaret, Joe and Ellen and families, words cannot express our sadness at the passing of a legend, that was loves so deeply. The memories I have of this beautiful soul are undescribable. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. She will always be remembered.

I met BJ through my mom Rosemary Davis and sister Robin Messenger both DOEs.
BJ was always welcoming, kind and caring when I visited WNY for DOE events. BJ carried herself with Beauty and grace. She held her friends close and I am honored to have known her.
