Betty Mendez, age 79 from Saticoy, California has joined the presence of our Lord on February 22, 2017. Betty passed away after a brief illness with her loving husband by her side.
Betty is fondly remembered for her joyous, caring and loving spirit. She was a beautiful soul to those who knew her and she will be greatly missed by her husband Reynaldo "Tundie" Mendez of 60 years.
Betty loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children and that motherly love engulfed every one of them. You will be missed by all who knew you and your memory will live in us forever.
Family and friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 10am at Funeraria Del Angel Oxnard, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard, CA 93033 (805)487-4911. A Graveside Committal service will immediately follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park; 5400 Valentine, Rd., Ventura, CA 93003.

We will never forget you Tia Betty. A true angel left us earthlings to arrive at her real destiny in heaven where you will never suffer pain of any sort. Nevertheless we will always keep you in our hearts. Pray for us, Helen, Rita, Sonya, Peggy, ChaCha and the entire Mendez family. Send our love to all our loved ones who you are sharing heaven with.
