Not sure what to say?

I was in science classes at 4th Ave Jr. High, in 1978-79. In 1979 there was an eclipse, I hadn't seen one of those before, she took the class out to the grass in front of the school, and through a cardboard box, we watched the eclipse. I asked her once when I was 14 and in her class, why we in Yuma didn't use Solar energy. She said it was the technology. It is good that she lived long enough to see the technology catch up to the idea. Mrs. Moody helped me see the world differently. I never...

I loved talking with Ms Moody. It didn't surprise me to hear that well into her 90's she could make Thanksgiving dinner for her family, except taking the turkey out of the oven. She was always full of joy and love for those around her!

It was an honor to know Elizabeth and Bob Moody and witness all the service they provided to Yuma. The Elizabeth Moody demonstration garden will be a constant reminder of her love of gardening and support for agriculture in Yuma. Elizabeth and Bob's legacy continues with a scholarship awarded yearly in their name to a Yuma area student entering the UA or UA in Yuma agriculture program. The family legacy in education and agriculture continues in Yuma. Our thoughts and prayers are with the...

What an incredible life Mrs Moody had. She did so much for others and she and Bob´s names were Ft tired in our family home growing up. My parents had a great fondness for both, having spent time with them in many community groups, and farming. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I can only imagine her and Bob in heaven, and so many others in heaven, like our folks, rejoicing at their heavenly reunion. My sincere sympathies to all of you. I know many of you will carry on...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Elizabeth brought dignity wherever she went. Such a presence. Such a life well-lived. Thank you for being an inspiration. Glenn McHarg

What an amazing woman, so many memories, and so gracious to everyone, she will truly be missed by all, especially her family at the Yuma County Fair. I'll miss our talks.

As a new member of the Yuma Garden Club and a past member of the Master Gardener Program, it is so bittersweet that I did not get a chance to hear her speak on the things she loved, but her Legacy here in Yuma will most certainly live on. Prayers for the family and friends for your loss.

I had the pleasure of sitting at table at Heart of Yuma some years ago. Mrs. Moody and son, Bill, were at same table. A remarkable woman. My condolences to the family. May memories comfort you.
