To Lizzy's family and loved ones, I was deeply saddened to hear of Lizzy's passing. We grew up together and though we didn´t stay in touch, I counted her among the small group of people I´ve known most of my life. She was the sole girl on our elementary school soccer team, and she consistently outplayed all the boys.
