Not sure what to say?

Ms Elizabeth was so very special to myself, my sisters, and my mom, Kathy Haile. I remember the joy I always felt visiting her in her BR home and being allowed to look through all of her special beads, buttons, and fabrics. And to top it off she always shared her brown sugar cubes.

Miss her dearly and was so glad to get to share a cup of coffee with her on one of her visits to BR a bit back. Sending all of our love.

Elizabeth, aka ISSIE, aka ECO, was a really marvelous person, so full of creativity and so great at bringing people together. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, she amazed her friends, when she pulled up stakes and moved to Maine and stayed there!!! She loved her family, her friends, her CATS, and anything about art and culture. She had a strong hunger for music and beauty and for animals in general, maybe second only to people.
She toddled to the beat of her own drummer, and she...

Dearest Gene and Sherry, just heard about Elizabeth. My thoughts and prayers are with you. She was and will always be special in my heart. You will hear from me later. Love "bootsie" Hundemer

Elizabeth’s spirit and childlike delight enriched my life and added so much color! She holds a very special place in my heart and my love goes out to her family and friends . I miss her so. Susan Gill Sproul

The world is a lesser place without her. She will be missed and she was loved.

Ize was a favorite of mine. She came to my workshops in Taos, NM & Mallorca. I loved her Storytelling & inquisitive mind & her contributions to our group. She was a wonderful artist. Blessings to this gentle soul.

She was in the very first class I ever taught, Algebra I as a student teacher at Tara Hugh School in the fall of 1970. We had reconnected through Facebook but never got to meet face to face again. She was a true sweetheart.

So saddened to hear about Elizabeth passing .. she was one of the first friends I made at Vanderbilt... My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family ..
