Not sure what to say?

God Bless Betty. What a wonderful lady. I had the opportunity to get to know her while attending MMA. RIP.....

I got to know Betty when I joined the Shenandoah County Retired Teachers Association (and also when the late Virginia Snyder invited me to meet for lunch monthly with other SJ retirees even though I had not worked with many of them.) Betty was president of SCRTA before Bill Moyers, and I followed Bill. She was fun to be with and I am glad I got to know her even though we never worked together! We will be holding a memorial service remembering Betty along with other SCRTA members who passed...

So glad Miss Benchoff was part of my SJHS days. She was such a lady and good role model for young girls to inspire to. I would see her on occasion in later years in the area. We would have such good visits. Sadly missed. Gladly known

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Betty always knew at Monday night's choir rehearsal what she would play for her organ prelude the following Sunday. Now, fifty years later, I remember her enthusiasm for the music she shared with St. Paul's UCC in Woodstock. Every Monday I choose service music for my church's upcoming Sunday and I think of her.

prayers to the family. there was never a time in my years at SJHS i couldn't duck into MS B's office, grab some candy out of her jar and just flob on the couch if need be. no one every supported SJHS students like she did. R.I.P. my friend.

My sympathy to the family. Lots of wonderful memories of my childhood neighbors the many life events we shared.. Love and Peace, Nick Bishop

My deepest sympathy to the family . Betty will always be remembered by the cadets that passed through the gates of Massanutten .

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
