Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Miss Pappas. She touched so many lives in such a positive way. I was fortunate to have her as my teacher and and guidance counselor. She taught me history and so much more. I will never forget her kind and gentle manner. She made the world a better place. She leaves us with the gift of many wonderful memories to treasure and carry in our hearts forever. I shall miss her.

The class of l963 and I have many memories and many good words to say about our loved teacher and friend, Miss Pappas. So many loving thoughts come to my heart. Only God knows what you meant to me and many of my classmates. You were always there for us!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my cousin Betty. Her devotion to her family and the many, many students she provided direction for was nothing short of amazing. Betty's involvement and volunteerism with the community, her Greek Orthodox church in Jamestown, and all the other groups she supported will be sadly missed.
I know that you are rejoicing together with your sister Rose and your parents as you take your place in the kingdom of heaven. You will be missed

I am so sorry to hear about Betty passing but I know I will see her again laughing and joking with Jesus and reunited with her family in Paradise. I loved Betty as family, like an Aunt, since I was a child and she lived next door to my house while I was growing up and close friends with my parents. She was so good and kind to me and always so helpful in guiding and directing me. I always looked up to her, all that she accomplished and all her wisdom. She was always encouraging me in...

Miss Pappas, an inspiration and role model for all of her students. Thank you for helping me to become my best. The world is a better place because of people like you! I remember your kindness, your gentle way of teaching and guidance. My deepest sympathy to all who knew and loved her. You made my life easier and a better place to be. Thank you!

I am so very sad to learn that Miss Pappas has died. She was my guidance counselor for two years when I was at OHS. She not only steered and prodded me in the right direction with my high school courses and plans for college, but she was also simply a joy and a delight to spend time with. After my graduation, Miss Pappas, her sister, my parents and I would often get together for dinners where we'd spend most of the time laughing about things (and Miss Papas was never short of a joke or funny...
