I am so sad to hear this news. I have so many fond memories of Liz at the farm in North Salem. The holidays with Liz and Maury with Lisa and Marc were a treasure.
My condolences extend to the entire family, but especially to Lisa with whom I spent so many happy hours riding horses and talking about the world, to John with whom I spent so many happy hours at the farm, and of course to Linda, my dearest friend for so many years.

To Cooley sibs, I will miss her more than I could have imagined. She felt more like sister than first cousin. All those summers on Lake Erie, out west, in college, in Africa, English garden trips, Shelter I visits, (another visit planned this summer). The blood runs thick. RIP Lizzie.

Liz was a wonderful aunt and her smile and affection for her family, including my father, will last forever with me. Her friendship with my step-mother Linda, and the manner in which she welcomed her into the Pinto family thirty-five years ago, was beautiful and emblematic of her personality.
