My sincerest condolences to Elizabeth's family. I was sorry to hear that Elizabeth was so ill. We taught at Smith Elementary. I remember Elizabeth as a hard working teacher who expected as much from her students. She taught her students to be model citizens. She was very proud of her children and her husband who supported her in receiving her degree. Elizabeth was determined to succeed in anything that she was a part of especially teaching her students. My sincere condolences to Mr. Harry Poe and the family. I was Mrs. Poe caregiver Juanita she was a very sweet and loving person. She taught me a couple recipes and one making tortillas I'll always have those memories with me. May She rest in peace.

I remember Elizabeth well from her volunteer days in The Village at Incarnate Word. I'm sorry to learn that she suffered a long time with cancer. I know she is at peace now re-united with her parents. May God grant all her family peace and strength in the days and months ahead.
