"Jooo-nehlllll!" I still hear that voice! One of a kind. Tinkling of ice in the cocktail glasses - always a napkin underneath. Dining room table always filled full of food, perfectly cooked. FL/GA parties with shrimp and grits, bloody Marys, real homemade biscuits. New foods. Always learning and trying new things. So many talks in the Woodmere kitchen. Always my favorite “swim team mother”, Betty Poucher was very special to me. I always appreciated her sense of humor and her cooking.
