Not sure what to say?

I am devastated to learn of Hayden's passing. She was an amazing woman whose kind and gentle soul will be missed immensely. While I´ve only known her for a short time, we developed a special bond. I have the honor of carrying on her son Andy´s legacy as the Andy Quattlebaum Distinguished Chair of Infectious Disease Research at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. We will work every day to help improve the health and wellbeing of dogs and cats in Andy´s and Hayden´s honor. I want them both...

Today we received word of Hayden's passing and my heart grieved for the loss of her sweet, sweet spirit on earth. I'm grateful to have known her through her alma mater, Saint Mary's, to learn of her passion to keep her father's memory alive and well through the work and passions he had, and of course Andy's life living on through the many amazing things started in his memory and honor. I'll miss my talks with Hayden and cherish them now more than ever.

Hayden. Wow. So sad to hear. I went to six years of grammar school at the old Royall in Florence with Hayden. So beautiful with her long blonde hair and just the beauty that surrounded her every move. I probably haven´t seen her since then but will never forget her. Reading about her life its just incredible who she became and the legacy she left. None of this is surprising. Just a beautiful person. As I cut through the "country club" on the way to and from work I still look over and say,...

My deepest condolences. May God's Holy Spirit be with the family. I pray that he brings comfort to you all at this difficult time.

Hayden´s beautiful smile and loving nature will continue in our hearts. Her kindness touched me during our St Mary´s days. Hayden was authentic in her love of people. Mary Thorp SMC 78

My prayers are with the family. Hayden was a nice and caring person at JFB. The class of 76 was small but loving. Steve H Anderson III Class of 76
