So sorry to hear about the passing of Granny Burke, thoughts and prayers to the Ring Family.

I met Elaine before she married Mr. Burke, my Father in law, soon she became my Mother in law and one of the most delightful people I have ever known. Her cooking was only one small part of who she was. I learned from the wonderful food she prepared that it was not the recipe she used, as she would gladly share her secrets, but the recipe never tasted the same.
