Dear Family of Bette Roth,
I worked for Bette in the mid-1980s at the United Way. She taught me so much in two years, and i will never forget her. I often think of her fondly.

Shelley, Michel & Doug,
My sincerest condolences at the passing of your mother. I recall your mother's kindness and dry wit and will always remember her and her very special family with the greatest fondness.

Dear Doug and Family,
We at Shelbourne would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you and all your family. We will miss Bette and feel privileged to have been part of her last years.
We will also miss seeing you Doug, coming in every day to assist your mother. We always admired the dedication you gave her. You were a good son and she a good mother.

I never knew Elizabeth "Bette" Roth or any of her family but I loved reading about her life. It made me laugh because I feel exactly the same way she did about age! I also love to laugh and love jewelry so I could relate! That was one of the nicest obituaries I've ever read and I could have been her daughter.

Bette was a charming person who brought a bright spot to the lives of everyone she met. I knew her through IABC and her wonderful work at the United Way. She will be missed, but memories of her will be treasured.
