I just heard Mrs. Rudd passed away and despite her obviously having lived a good long life, it made me feel bad. Up until she left her home on Brookside (which I have held for decades is the coolest house in Wilbraham), two houses over from where I grew up, I would find reasons to bump into her and other old friends as often as I could while passing through on my motorcycle. She told GREAT stories... I really enjoyed hearing about her time/work during WW2 or some little bit of information...
