Read MoreMrs. Sanderlin was an inspiration to all if us as we grew up in Shawboro. The Home Demonstration meetings and 4-H Clubs were an asset to me growing up as well as to my Mother. Most of all she was a special friend to our family and was always a generous hostess and she felt like a part of our family any time she was in our home. She will be missed by so very many.

I went with our choir group (directed by Ann Whatley) on Dec. 17th last year to sing for her. She really appreciated the songs that we sang for her. She was one great lady.

I stayed with Elizabeth one summer and worked at her restuarant. She was a very nice lady and I have many fond memories of her. I went to her 100th birthday party two years ago. Am sure she will me missed by her family and friends.
