Not sure what to say?

I just learned this minute of Betty Ann's passing. She and Jack were great friends of my parents, Edith and Preston Hazelwood. And thanks to Jack and Betty Ann for telling them about St. Mary's Rehabilitation Center in Minneapolis MN where I went to begin my new life 40 years ago tomorrow I am a new contributing person to the world today... I owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude!!! I am only sorry I waited until now to speak up.

Betty Ann and our Mom were such great friends together in their brilliant later years. Their Redwood walks, animated conversations on subjects far & wide, and tender yet spacious appreciation & care for one another spanned heart and mind.

Deepest sympathies to Dierdre and the family. Godspeed and love.

Lots of love to Jack and all the beautiful girls (especially D who we miss so much)

Mrs Savage to me! and oh so grateful for this wonderful family. My sincerest condolences to all on behalf of the Woolford and Fontanals families. I have the fondest memories of Saltaire visits, and birthday parties. I do believe I learned to play backgammon on Surf walk thanks to Mrs S and her patience. May all your beautiful memories carry you through. You are all in our prayers. LOVE YOU! Jennifer Woolford

Please accept our condolences from Sag Harbor. We so admired

Celebrating Betty Ann Savage: a vibrant, inquisitive mind and soul, a keen observer of politics and customs, a true friend. Rest in peace.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Savage family. We are so sorry for your loss.
