SCHNEIDER, Elizabeth Mae "Granny" Anderson - Of Flint, age 87, died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Hope United Methodist Church, G-4467 Beecher Road, Flint, Pastor John Ferris officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Hope United Methodist Church. Visitation 10AM-8PM Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mrs. Schneider will be at the church from 12 Noon Thursday until the time of the service. Elizabeth was born in Greenville, Missouri on May 24, 1920, the daughter of Charles and Cleva (Robbins) Bridges. She loved to read and go to the grandchildren's sporting events and school programs. Elizabeth was one of the last members of the Sit Down Striker's Women's Brigade. She was a member of her beloved Hope United Methodist Church. She retired with 27 years of service from Durant Turri Mott, formerly known as Hazelton School. Elizabeth also worked as a secretary for 4 years at Reigle Funeral Home. Surviving are son, Wayne (Marcia) Anderson of Flint; daughter, Earlynn (Ron) Frye of Flint; daughter-in-law, Linda Anderson; step-daughter, Susan (Ed) Shea of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Roger (Linda) Anderson of Swartz Creek, Keith Frye of Flint, Mark (Heidi) Anderson of Linden, Matt (Sonia) Frye Swartz Creek, Terry (Debra) Anderson of Flint, Tara Anderson of Flint, Kimberlee Elizabeth Anderson of Flint, Kim (Don) Shank of Davison, Dana (Mike) Jankowski of Swartz Creek; great-grandchildren, Eric Anderson, Nicholas Anderson, Adam Frye, David Anderson, Michael Luther, Alexis and Mikayla Jankowski and Eric Killpatrick; brother-in-law, Quentin Schneider of Flint; sister-in-law, Pearl (Frank) Remick of Flint; special friend, and niece, Imogene Burnham of Flushing; many loved, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, husbands, Earl C. Anderson and Edward Schneider; son, Edward "Ben" Anderson; daughter, Patricia Anderson; 2 brothers; 3 sisters. Sorry to hear of the passing of Elizabeth. I knew her when I attended Hope, before moving to
