Elizabeth Jane North "Betty" Scully

Dear Erin and Scully Family,
I only very recently learned of the passing of "Betty". Please accept my sincere condolences. I don't think she knew of any other way of life than SHARING. I am thankful that I knew your mom when I was a teenager, and thanks to all of YOU for sharing her with all of "us kids". A beautiful lady, married to a beautiful man, could only have led to a beautiful family.

To Erin and all the Scully family. My deepest, heartfelt sympathy to all of you on the death of your mother and grandmother. May she rest now in the peace of Christ with her beloved Hoot. She was a beautiful person, as was your good father Hoot. Be assured of my prayers for all of you as you begin the grieving process. God be with you!

Our condolences on the loss of a great woman. We will always remember meeting her at a White House Correspondents Association dinner. Such an upbeat, inspiring woman who had her priorities straight.
