Not sure what to say?

Betty will be remembered as a lovely and exceptional woman. God speed.

To Marilyn , Fred and Family: Sorry to learn of Marilyn's mom's passing. Since both of our mothers made it to 97, I guess we weren't too hard on them. Best regards, Jim

I wish I could be there in Michigan for the memorial service and my thoughts are with the rest of the family today as they celebrate the life of Grandma Betty. It is so nice to see the entries here that speak to the lasting impression this sweet woman made on so many others. I only wish I knew more about the impact she made while she was still alive. May God take you, Grandma and keep you under his wing!

Betty and Margaret Berry were good friends of my aunt, Dorothea Gollin and I have known them both since I was a little girl. Later I sang in the First Presbyterian Church choir with them.
Betty was a fun lady to be around and the group of teachers all had a great time being together and taking trips together. I recently came across an old movie of a trip to Panama that both Betty and Margaret took with my aunt and others. Cherish your memories. I'm sure God will assign her to be...

Betty was my Dad's cousin. My siblings and I grew up knowing her as a smart, charming, and gracious woman, full of energy with a spirit of adventure that I always admired and envied. I am forever grateful to her for documenting our family's geneology - something that would have been lost forever without her enthusiastic efforts. I am so proud to be a part of her family tree.

We are sorry that mother died while we are away for the month of april, but so pleased to read all the great tributes

What fond memories I have of Miss Berry coming to Garfield school when I was young. What an inspiration she was. She instilled a love of music in me.

I was in the girl's choir, called the Melodiers at Handy High School. Would have been in the 1940s..........we were very good too! Of course our success was really due to Miss Berry's great control of the group and her wonderful musical knowledge. We had many a good time, we were asked to sing all over Bay City, won state honors.
I have often wondered what had become of her, and here she was right in Bay City.
A wonderful woman!
