Elizabeth Sterk

Elizabeth Sterk Elizabeth (Betty) Sterk was born on December 19, 1914. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and went home to be with him on February 7, 2011. Betty was born to Joe and Trina Martens in Patterson, NJ; she grew up in Denver, CO, Redlands, CA and Hines, CA. She met her hsuabnd of 53 years, Henry Stark in Bellflower, CA where they were married. The family lived in Artesia on a dairy and later in Chino, CA. Betty moved back to Artesia in February 2007 where she resided at the Artesia Christian Home until the time of her death. Betty is survived by her five daughters, Carolyn Santos (David) of Los Banos, CA, Ruth Eigenhuis (Jim) of Atascadero, CA, Faith Van De Brake (Wayne) of Lakewood, CA, Judy Kamstra (Tom) of Artesia, CA and Janna Vanden Brink ( John) of Lone, OR; 16 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be at White's Funeral Home in Bellflower on Friday, February 11 from 5-8 p.m. The memorial services to be held at Artesia Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. and burial at the Artesia Cemetery.
