Rita and Family...Way back to the days of Grant School .. 1960.. I met you and we shared all of our school days..Your Mom was always there for you and to make sure that all of us were staying on track..She was like a Second Mom to Many, a Loyal Supporter and a Great Shoulder to lean on with an understanding Ear.. as we grew to adulthood, she was still there for us and as my Parents and Nana Passed she still had words of encouragement for me.. Rita, your Mom was an important part of Your Life...

To the Family: I send you my prayers and I hope during this time you find the strength from our heavenly father to keep the faith and trust in him to know she is at a better place,Home sweet Home. Love you all.

Mrs. "C" was always there for the neighborhood children. She was my den mother and my sister's brownie leader. If you needed a hug, a smile, a stearn look, she was there. I loved her alot. My prayers go out to Don and his sisters at this time of sorrow.

I met "Ms Carter" when my brother, Charles and her son, Don played Babe Ruth baseball. Throughtout the years whenever I saw her she always made me feel special. A person like her will truly be missed.

I have known Mrs. Carter-Thornton, all my life. She was a loving mother, friend and confidante. As we were growing, she helped my mother, bothers, sister and myself in more ways than one. She will surely be missed by all.
