Not sure what to say?

Dear Tyner family. I just learned today of Jane´s death. Our children were at Willard School, Clark being in Sofie´s class. As we have lived in SE Evanston for 16 years, I enjoyed seeing Jane walking along the lakefront as I took our dog on daily walks. I respected Jane so much, recognizing her sweet, kind nature. What a wonderful person. God bless all of you who hold so many cherished memories of time with Jane. Sincerely, Gloria Wildenradt

Sad to hear this news. I met Jane at the pool a decade ago when she approached me about swim instruction--not for her, but for a preteen Nigerian-American girl I assumed she was mentoring. Jane brought her to the pool and paid for the lessons. I always suspected Jane was married to the Chicago Tribune's Howard Tyner, but I never asked. What I did notice was that she was sincerely kind, compassionate, and personified 'total class.' RIP.

I am deeply sorry for the family´s loss. Please accept my condolences and may my prayers help comfort the family.
