Memories of my Granny
Summers in the cool outdoors
On lawn chairs, under the shade of
Trees dropping acorns
That clatter across the roof and awnings
Clanging and banging their way to the ground
like a crashing symphony or a rain storm of stones.
Musty dirt cellars that delighted the senses
